Justin Blackmon is in trouble again and this time it could cost him millions of dollars. In what is being called a violation of the NFL’s substance-abuse policy Blackmon has been suspended by the NFL for 4 games. He will not be paid during his suspension and the Jaguars can now cut him without having to pay the remaining $10 million left on his contract. This is Blackmon’s third substance abuse related violation in three years. The first two where related to alcohol while this latest violation is believed to be related to drugs. Although very disappointed Jaguars GM Dave Caldwell is unsure if he will release their former 5th overall pick Blackmon or give him yet another opportunity.
